By graphemes — the visible character count. A flag emoji like 🇺🇸 counts as 1 grapheme even though it has 4 UTF-16 code units. Our composer matches the network.
Does Bluesky have hashtags?
Yes, since 2024 — clickable inline. They count toward the 300-grapheme limit.
Can I schedule replies and quote posts?
Replies yes, quote posts yes. Both ship through the standard AT-Proto post creation endpoint.
Will scheduled posts get less reach on Bluesky?
Bluesky's feed is reverse-chronological — there's no algorithm to favor or penalize you. Reach depends entirely on when your audience is online.
